INTERACTIVE CITY & DIGITAL TWIN

Through technology, the space between reality and imagination will be blurred.

In the coming decades, advanced sensors and AI will allow us to digitalize the natural world. We call this a digital twin: a portal in  which to interact with the world in unprecedented ways. With perfect knowledge of the planet and the impact of civilization, our way of life will be able to exist in harmony with nature.

Powered through renewable energies such as solar, wind and fusion, billions will thrive in interactive communities maintained through digitalized systems to balance the needs between civilization and nature.

Today, Petra raises an issue.

In her job as a city farmer, she found a pest problem in a rooftop garden in the botanical district.

Picking up the case, Forest works with Petra to eventually arrive at two possible solutions:

Encase the garden in a glass dome or introducing a controlled bird population to eat the pests.

These solutions are put to local vote, granting residents direct control of their communities.

In this particular case, they prefer a biodiverse urban landscape and vote for introducing birds.
